The reason for dark cockpit in P3D is hdr. Currently implemented HDR is (kinda) broken (and fake), It's not hdr per se but only an imitation of it so the results differs very much. I notice this happening at EGLL, KDEN, KIAD, and others when there are a lot of dynamic lights drawn. Those add on sceneries have a ton of dynamic lights.
