WebFrom what I could gather by looking around the web, the watch can either calculate your steps using GPS/location or by the natural hand/arm movement we do when walking, which brings me to my two questions: 1. How (if its even possible) do I force my Instict to calculate/add the steps from the stair stepper to my daily step count? 2.

WebIf your profile set to active or very active it may not be counting the steps since it already accounts for them in your normal daily activity. Even if you don't get a positive calorie adjustment (and haven't allowed negative adjustments), MFP still registers your step count from Garmin.
